Noordhoek & Capri
Noordhoek Village is the natural hub — three of the most reliable dog-friendly spots sit within a 90-second walk of each other, all with outdoor seating and shade.
The Foodbarn Deli

Relaxed courtyard, water bowls out front, friendly to well-behaved dogs on lead.
Local tip — Sit in the outdoor courtyard rather than the deli interior — there's shade and space for a Lab to stretch out under the table.

Local tip — Aim for an off-peak table on the lawn. Skip the indoor section on busy Sunday brunches with a reactive dog.

Head south for a calmer, beachy energy. These are our go-tos when we want a long walk plus a coffee, instead of a sit-down brunch.

Local tip — Combine it with a Long Beach walk — park at Imhoff, walk down to the beach, then loop back for coffee.
Good Hope Gardens Nursery

Garden-centre cafe with sea views, quiet weekday mornings, dogs on lead welcome.
Local tip — Best for a calm coffee with an older or anxious dog — far less foot traffic than the village spots.
A short etiquette note
- Always ask at the door before assuming a venue is dog-friendly — policies shift, and indoor sections often have their own rules.
- Keep dogs on a short lead at the table; long lines are a trip hazard for staff carrying hot plates.
- Bring something to chew. Five minutes of settling work beats an hour of nudging-for-scraps.
- Walk first, eat second. A tired dog under the table is the difference between a relaxed lunch and a stressful one.
